DescriptionHere is the description from the original owner who is best suited to describe the process of how this beauty was created!This piece is a fully finished 11”x 17” ink and watercolor painting by one of Mr Buscema’s best inkers, the great Bob McLeod. After acquiring the pencil rough, I contacted Mr. McLeod and had him lightbox the artwork and do a complete finish and this stunning piece of art was the result. He has incorporated elements of the original rough in addition to using Mr. Buscema’s final artwork for reference. I also asked for several new elements and textures, including the topless La, high-priestess of Opar.Mr. McLeod also inked this piece entirely in brush as a tribute to Mr. Buscema, who inked exclusively in brush. This looks fantastic! Bob Mcleod was one of my favorite JB inkers, great brush work! The colors look awesome as well, are those Dr. martin dyes?
