Description

Imposing cover drawn by Rafael Lopez Espi for the Spanish edition of PATRULLA-X VOL.3 #1 magazine format published by the former publishing Vertex in March of 1976. It's titled "X-Men" and the USA content corresponds to the X-Men Vol.1 # 1. The reason why this cover is special and unique, apart from being a # 1 (of 35 forming the collection) and its undeniable artistic quality, is that X-Men had no Vol 2 such other series, so that went straight from vol. 1 to 3, this being the first issue in magazine format.

Majestuosa portada dibujada por Rafael López Espí para la edición española de PATRULLA-X VOL.3 Nº1, publicado en formato taco por la extinta editorial Vértice en Marzo de 1976. Se titula "Los hombres X" y el contenido USA corresponde a The X-Men Vol.1 #1. Lo que hace especial esta portada, aparte de ser un nº 1 (de 35 que forman la colección) y su innegable calidad artística, es que La Patrulla X no tuvo un Vol. 2 como otras series, de modo que se pasó directamente del vol. 1 al 3, siendo este el primer número publicado en formato revista.

Muy buena portada, aunque el primer numero del vol.1 pintado por Enric, tiene mas impacto artistico y visual...creo que este nº 1 es mas representativo y comercial, felicidades.

Sin duda, una de mis portadas preferidas de López Espí. El rostro de la Chica Maravillosa de frente y el que sus colores sean los mismos que los de Magneto la hacen especial, por no hablar del fondo negro detrás de Magneto, de la posición de La Bestia... En fin, que es una maravilla. ¡Enhorabuena!
