DescriptionI couldn't pass this piece up when I saw it in one of Lynda's eBay auctions. From Lynda's description:"This 11x8.5, a sketch book page picture Lynda made the month after September 11th when she was freaking about the impending war and she started drawing cute animals for the first time ever. You could call it a weird response to war! But! the war is still on and she is still drawing them!" There is something surreal about this piece, putting it in context of 9/11, but strangely powerful as well. Social/Sharing |

Rob, this is a beautiful piece. I've never really gotten into her work but this one makes me want to go back and try again. Congrats!

What a lovely piece. It strongly reminds me of Tove Jansson's The Moomins. Thanks for sharing it.
