Description

This is one of those pieces that is just too fantastic to be left in a portfolio so I had to have this piece framed so I can enjoy it on a daily basis.

I of course wanted what would be best to preserve the piece for future generations so I used Museum glass and Bainbridge 8-ply Alpharag mats. I really like how the piece turned out and look forward to enjoying its beauty for a very long time.

Art is 4 1/2 x 5 on 8x10 cut art board and has been framed to 11x14.

Wonderful piece! So glad you decided to frame and enjoy it daily! Odd that the matting is not the same size all the way around... haven't seen a lot of varying sized matte edges used in framing... I kind of like it! Go figure! Thanks for sharing!

The art itself was not actually in the center of the paper. He had 2.5 in. above the art and 3.5 in. below which led to the mat having to have the margins it does.
