Description

I obtained this terrific piece directly from Art at one of the comic art shows held at the Alexander Gallery in NY back in the 1990's. Alexander Acevedo, the owner of the gallery, was a big fan of Suydam's and bought many of his originals. One thing Alexander was not a fan of, was the color yellow and he told me that he would have bought this piece if not for the light yellow background. I'm glad Alexander passed on the piece, I've got no problem with the faint trace of yellow in this one!!

You lucky man, this is a very nice and refined illustration! And who cares about the traces of yellow!
