Description

I purchased this little number straight through Matt himself back in '95. This is the one that started it all, the Hall of Heroes, very first series, Snowman #1. Actually its the same size of a standard comic backing board!!! I actually like the cover without any text or logo. This one stays in my collection. Matt is one talented guy! Heard he had been through some rough times, hope things are better. His stuff is top notch! Matt's art rep. recently commented this cover was by far, Matt's most important piece to date. Sweet! And to think, some of my friends were laughing at me back in the day for paying so much for cover art!

Order will include a few personal letters from Matt mentioning this actual cover purchase and some other cool stuff.

Its an action packed cover, glad its a keeper for you! And only comic board sized?! Never would have guessed that.

Yeah, I would'nt have either. In fact, all of my hall of heroes pieces are the same size. I remember Martin saying in a letter, "...the Snowman artwork is actual comic book size and not the standard 10x15. Vortex #6 and Snowman were drawn this size. Why? Pure laziness, I suppose." Glad you enjoyed it. Actually, this is probably the best way to get in all the nooks and grannies! I could stare at the orignal for days. There is so much going on. I always had hopes it would make it to the big screen. So much potential. Believe it or not, I finally have something coming your way tomorrow, Anthony!
