Description

As an artist, I have been highly influenced by Mad magazine legends, Sergio Aragones and Jack Davis. I always wanted a special piece by Davis, so I always kept my eye out. Then one day I happen to stumbled upon the Ispot site and the rest is history. This was a Buffalo Bills T-shirt concept that measures 17x17 and was actually part of the Society of Illustrators Retrospective Exhibition in NY in the late eighties. The depthness and detail found in this piece is mindblowing, I could stare at it for hours on end. I use to love the Davis ads for Slim Jims back in the '70s with dracula and the wolfman. His characters were always top notch. I knew I had to have some sort of Davis monster and I couldn't be any happier. What a true master!

Pure Davis! I too loved those monster Slim Jim ads as a kid - I even have one posted in my "Art Wanted" gallery!
