DescriptionI think I've mentioned it before but I feel like every kid loved the webcrawler to some degree - at least I did. Smart, funny, relatable in his human struggles and most importantly of all, always went home to a smoking hot actress every night.Mark Bagley's Spider-Man was The Spider-Man in the height of my comic reading days growing up and this piece captures the quintessential Spidey action page for me. The pose (and wise-crack) in the middle panel and that THWIP action in that last panel are absolute gold. I had all but given up on grabbing a page from this era and though Bagley still illustrates Spidey, I don't read the books any longer so those lacked that certain nostalgic factor. I stumbled upon this page entirely by luck and it did not break the bank so I'm absolutely thrilled to have it in hand. Actually don't think I've ever been this excited about adding a non-Hulk page to the collection so I knew I made the right choice in snagging it. This came nicely framed with the published page and cover and will be up on the wall shortly - please excuse the odd angle of the art since I wasn't able to get it properly scanned. Signed by Randy Emberlin and includes the nice gut punch original pricing in the top right corner. Love it all. Social/Sharing |

Outstanding, T! I remember this while issue and this page distinctly - one of the best from the book. All you could want from a Bags ASM page, really. Top to bottom sweet storytelling, a middle splashy shot, and capped off by Spidey dodging a vibro blast! I loves me some Shocker :) Yep, this one really does have it all, as they say. Congrats!

Sizzling linework by Bagley! Very memorable storyline leading up to Spidey's 30th anniversary (next) issue. The action of a spry and gangly Spidey is what strikes people most about his Spider-Man.

I'm a big Bags believer. Liked his style right away and the books came out at the time I slogged out from underneath a 6-7 year comic buying freeze. Cool panels on this one and I love the pages inked by Emberlin. A+
