DescriptionWes showcases both his animator's gift for storytelling with his judicious sense of contrast between open, simple forms and complex, detailed patterns. The impact of the incredible depth of field in those last three panels set up nicely by the quotidian rhythm and limited scope of the first four. Craig Yeung's line weights really drive the contrast home.Wes and I made a cool Pirates of the Caribbean Story together that is lost somewhere in the dead files of the Disney legal dept. I could tell even back then that he was a force to be reckoned with. Alas! Social/Sharing |
