Description

The first in my series capturing the epic battles between Hulk and Wolverine. Ardian Syaf is a master with watercolors and his Wolverine is just fantastic so I couldn't think of anyone else better to execute this.

Aside from the two stars of the piece, I love the subtle effects of drifting leaves and the Dutch angle in which he composed the layout. Originally requested as a standalone piece, when I saw this, I knew I had to extend it to a series: Hulk v Wolverine through the seasons.

I think I agree with John C. This is my favorite of the three so far. Those rays of sunshine breaking through the forest canopy are marvelous.

Powerful restaging of the battle between Wolverine and the Hulk by Ardian Syaf. It's interesting the way Wolvie is posed with his back to the Hulk. Clearly the Hulk has aready taken some damage by his face and demeanor. Wolvie looks like he's about to swing around with another potentially killing blow. Very cool commission.
