TECHNICAL FANTASY ILLUSTRATION IS KINDA FUN DEPENDING ON THE SUBJECT MATTER. IN THIS CASE DESIGNING THE INTERIOR TO BATMANS BATPLANE WAS PURE FUN. DC LOST THE ORIGINALS TO THIS WHICH IS A SHAME SINCE I SPENT ABOUT A WEEK ON THIS ONE DRAWING ALONE:( THIS WAS DONE FOR DC LICENSING.THANKS DC FOR LOOSING MY ART.

My God that's a helluva lot of detail. May I ask how much time you spent doing research for this?

Kevin, I am a huge airplane nut. I have a pile of AirForce books that I used for reference. The cockpit is cross blend of a couple planes, the A-10 and the F-16. Just changed the shape of a few instruments on the forward console and the added the side mounted hotas joy stick. The ejection seat is an Aces 2 zero-zero type commonly used in all AF equiptment this one has Wayne Enterprises logo stamped on the side of the chair. I'm such a nerd:)

This is Amazing!... kind of reminds me of a David Kimble illustration.. without the cutaway!
