DescriptionFull color, full figure original sketch art of the Golden-Age Sandman by Creig Flessel (color pencil), early Golden-Age pioneer and the artist who made the character famous in DC Comics' classic anthology title, Adventure Comics. The Sandman was created by artist Bert Christman (who gave his life in World War II serving as a volunteer combat pilot with the famed Flying Tigers) and writer Gardner Fox. The Sandman was an original founding member of the Justice Society of America, introduced in All-Star Comics #3 (Winter, 1940-41).Figure image measures approx. 8.5" x 12." Social/Sharing |
