This revival of Ka-Zar worked mainly because of the artwork. Kubert brought out a some of his finest work with the 90's superhero style crossed with classic adventure strip qualities. The environments are detailed and illustrated, while Ka-Zar and Zabu are reunited in a great emotional moment that transcends the story.
