DescriptionThis outstanding piece titled "Tea For One" is by Bill Presing who is a Story Board Artist at Pixar Animation Studios. A gorgeous piece that I am thrilled to ownI had been wanting a painting by Bill for a long time now. This piece was originally sold during Art Blocks For Ghana. I was very tempted to go after the piece at that time but there were just so many pieces that I wanted and I knew this one would for for a pretty penny so I passed on it and instead bought 3 other pieces for the price it sold for. I had already decided that if the piece ever reappeared at a later time I would own it. Well the piece finally reappeared for sale at Graphics Collectibles so I contacted Mitch and was able to make the piece mine. I am thrilled to have it. To me it is the perfect example of Bill's cute girls. What I love most about the piece is that it actually tells a story. It is just not a simple pin-up of one of his girls but is actually a full environment she is immersed in. I love the tea ceremony theme that Bill chose for the piece. It is just such a tranquil piece that you can't help smiling when you look at it. The piece is actually quite different then the pieces that he normally paints. He normally paints his art using a transparent method but since the piece was on a block with a grain instead of paper he had to work in a opaque method. I really like how he utilized the wood grain of the piece. Size 7.75 x 7.75 on Art Block Social/Sharing |

Love Bill's cute girls, he has such a gorgeous style, and I was eyeing this piece too! Definitely interesting with the wood grain, gives such a unique feel to the piece. Hearty congrats. :)

Hearty congrats. :)Thanks, Connie. I figured there were others eyeing it as well. I was just lucky enough to land it. :) I agree. I love Bill's style. His pieces are instantly recognizable as being his which is why I have wanted one of his paintings. I just love how every artist has their own style.
