DescriptionHey, this is something I just scanned from my files, from 1983, of the promo piece done for DC Spotlight a convention giveaway book, to promote both All Star Squad as well as the intro of Infinity Inc. I'm not sure it's been seen in a while.DC had a bad habit of cutting the corners of the pages at this time, in order to fit more pages onto their stat camera, I believe. Social/Sharing |

woah, that's cool. I remember the flame character from one of the annuals but I've never actually seen this one before. Thanks for sharing something this cool. and I've always wondered why the older art I've come across had clipped corners, now I know : )

Lots of beautiful details on this page. Thankfully the clipped corners didn't cut off any of the details. Great art!!

Hey all, thanks for the comments on this. I remember busting my butt on this, because I wanted to make a good showing in the DC Spotlight book. Funny thing is, most of the promo pieces in the book wound up being clip art from various comics. I'm thinking Roy may have used this in Alter Ego, but overall, it is a somewhat obscure piece from the All Star Squadron days. Hope they include it if they ever reprint those comics in trade form.

Thanks for the issue number. Do you recall is the back cover had the All Star Squadron lodo like this art? Just curious if I had scanned the zerox for Roy or this art? The zerox wouldn't have had any copy on it. Best,JER
