Description

This piece combines 3 of my favorite things � the X-Force book Kyle, Yost, and Crain started, the Fastball Special, and Mark Brooks art! Been requesting some commissions recently highlighting some of my favorite stories and I�m glad to count this one among those! The X-force book released in 2008 was great � unique story, interesting mix of characters, nice revamped costume designs, etc. And who�s not a fan of the Fastball Special?!

Mark�s a super nice guy and I�m extremely happy he was able to do this piece at the Phoenix Comicon this year - he referred to it as a Curveball Special, because X-23�s curvy�get it? :-p The colors look great, laid out really nice with great action poses � he seemed into it while he was doing it and I think it shows!
