Description

Picked this up from Mark at Albuquerque Comic Expo this year. I have tons of comics with Mark's art but hadn't been fortunate enough to pick up an original piece until now...and it is a beauty.

Great detail, meticulous shading, and look at that face - almost looks like a portrait. Mark was very nice, very inviting, and we discussed a few different commission options and both of us felt pretty good about Elektra so that's where we settled - solid choice I think! He took his time with this over the weekend and it really shows - very happy with this pick up.

TEX has got to be in my top 5. When I clicked his name in your gallery, I completely expected T'Challa or one of the Dora Milaje. What a tremendous surprise to see Elektra. She's beautiful!

Ha ha, yeah, man, this was VERY early in my collecting days. Still love it as it's a killer full figure on 11x17 and the pencil rendering is unreal. And I talked with Tex for a lot of time he was actually doing it, so that was awesome.

That said, I only have a few artists still on the published Panther checklist, and Tex is one. I SHALL get there :) Thanks, V!
