Description

From 1971, the "Revenge" story by Gerry Conway, we get some great Don Heck and Mike Esposito artwork. Dealing with Spymaster, Capricorn, and the Zodiac Key, this is classic Marvel Comics storytelling with a story that crossed over into Daredevil 73.

I'm a big fan of Don Heck's artwork, both his Marvel work and his later DC Comics work, and was thrilled to be able to get a page from his stint on Iron Man; a character he helped define. The layout on the page is well done with good and sometimes unique perspectives, like Iron Man magentizing the Zodiac Key or the slightly angled panel where Daredevil swings into the frame. Esposito's inking brings out the best in Heck's pencils and makes the art look even better.

Love that last DD panel! Can't get better than a Heck page with Iron Man, Fury and DD!
