Description

This is hands down, one of the coolest paintings ever. Dave knew I really loved the Hulk, so he painted this piece for me. I'ts one of the first times he ever tackled the Hulk, and it's also one of his very first paintings. Yup, he's that talented. I wanted to frame it in real brick, but obviously, that would weigh way too much since the painting's pretty big. Trust me, I thought about it. So, I did the next best thing though....I went to Home Depot and got a piece of flooring that looked like brick. It worked out just as well, and I didn't have to sweat accidently tearing down one of the walls in our house.

while I did in fact know that Dave can paint like this... holy yikes! That (and the painted Aphrodite piece) are probably the best paintings I have seen of his... seriously the man needs to paint all the time.

Where did you find the matte for the frame? That thing is just an amazing accent to the painting! I'm always looking for the perfect matte for my artwork, but the options I find at the Aaron Brothers that does my custom framing seem so limited. I've never seen anything like this before.

My god I agree this painting is so awesome!!! If it is not enough that Dave pencils and inks as he does, he has this painting skill "cannon" in his arsenal to blow everyone away!! Congrats!
