Description

I've been looking for quite a while for a replacement page after selling a previous page from this book, and am very happy to have found this one. This will always be a nostalgic favorite for me, I still have the tabloid edition that my grandpa bought for me at the local liquor store way back when.

Sweet battle page! Love the panel of Batman jumping through the car tossed by Hulk.

Batman is an amazing athlete, and an incredible physical specimen, which is why he survived the car thing. However, the Hulk is a gamma-enhanced giant, thus he swats Batman away like a bug. What a page.

I love DC/Marvel crossovers! I mean, what's not to love? You've got two great characters who've never met before battling one another! Here it's Batman vs the Hulk--now that's a match made in Heaven! Fabulous battle page with Hulk flinging a car at Batman, shouting "You will not attack Hulk again, Pointy-Ears!" (Love Hulk calling Batman Pointy-Ears) Fun scene with the car flying right at Batman and he can't dodge it, so he dives through the windows! (Don't try this at home, kids!). Outstanding pencils by the great Jose Garcia Lopez and superb inks by the amazing Dick Giordano! Really stunnning pick-up, congrats!
