Published 1992
'A Woman's Work' written by Mark Schultz.
From the classic series Xenozoic Tales which was the source for the Saturday morning cartoon, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and has been reprinted as Cadillacs and Dinosaurs by various publishers.
This is page 3 of the eight story that interestingly enough was completely redrawn.
The unpublished page is in the additional images.
I actually prefer the unpublished page.
There are no stats, both pages are all inked art.
I would assume that a lightbox was used.
I wish I has asked Steve more about these pages when I bought them from him.

It didn't last very long and took forever to come out, but I enjoyed this series, it was pretty fun.

It was a night like this forty million years ago
I lit a cigarette, picked up a monkey skull to go
The sun was spitting fire, the sky was blue as ice
I felt a little tired, so I watched Miami Vice
And walked the dinosaur, I walked the dinosaur

A fully done illustrative work in each panel. These b&w indies were pushing the limits of what could turn out well on the paper and printing process they were using.

I think I agree about liking the unpublished page better. The redo seems to have a bit less energy to it, as though Stiles was tired in having to do it over again, for whatever unfathomable reason. This is a great catch, Mikki! I love the bravura b&w line art technique on display.
