Description

Continuing with my posting of Alex Lins art I've recently acquired is this great conversation piece between Plastic Man and Detective Chimp as they discuss Plas' ultimate future demise as he begins to cohesively fall apart.

Two outcasts and under-appreciated characters from the DCU coming together to support each other.

The inks are dark and you feel the graveness of the discussion on their faces.

I've said it before (yesterday to be accurate), Alex Lins' art is bar-none! Whimsical and chiseled at the same time with subtle detail in the originals that are sometimes washed out by the finished pages in books. I'm very lucky to own this and encourage everyone to keep an eye on Alex's current and future work. At the time of this writing You can see him in the pages of Plastic Man: No More! and the current Marvel Namor series.

I have no doubt we'll be adding many titles to that in the future.

Really nice full figure art of Detective Chimp. The details really stand out over the black background. Very fun with the dark noir feel of just the talking heads like it was a golden age book.

Amazing page! Plasitc Man and Detective Chimp were the combo we needed. Even with how things ended for them.
