DescriptionCarlo's one of my favorite artists, not only because of his amazing pencils and incredible Hulk (absolutely intended), but also because he illustrated the interiors for my favorite Hulk story of all time, Planet Hulk. Imagine my joy at seeing that not only was Carlo illustrating Hulk for Marvel again, but he was charged with creating the covers for a new PLANET HULK mini-series! And this was not one of the other "Hulks" trying to capitalize on that prior success but the real Hulk.I haven't read the story obviously but I love the art and I'm hopeful Carlo continues to contribute to the Hulk books. It's always a special bonus for me when Caiera Oldstrong makes an appearance and extremely interested to meet the new priestess, but just look at Hulk brandishing two obnoxiously large blades. Why does Hulk need two swords you ask? Why the heck not? HUGE shoutout to Dave and Steve for letting me know this was previewed. Always a pleasure dealing with Kirk Dilbeck, providing another in a loooonng series of smooth transactions (apologies to Griffin who had to endure my follow-ups while dealing with finals) and of course Carlo for creating this fantastic cover and continuing to amaze me with his art. Such a great visual and a perfect representation of Plaent Hulk from THE Planet Hulk artist. Congrats TC - glad to see this fall into the Gamma Collective!

Glad to see this ended up in your collection TC! Carlo's Hulk has been sorely missed and I absolutely love this cover.

Carlo's pencils are always so impressive, and man did he rock this Hulk cover! And yeah, why NOT wield two obnoxiously huge swords? He'll probably toss them aside anyway after a few minutes in the arena and go straight fists. Why? Cuz he's the friggin' Worldbreaker!!

Jaw-dropping! Love this Planet Hulk cover by Carlo Pagulayan! Has Hulk ever looked more threatening? I think not. Somehow, even though I know Hulk doesn't need two swords, it still feels right! Carlo's pencils here are superb! Great pick-up!
