I never thought that I would have the opportunity to own a piece by Paul Smith, much less one featuring two of my favorite characters. The "Pulp Friction" story was a dream come true. I only wish Paul had been able to do the entire series. He was able to capture the Eisner and Stevens characters to pulpy perfection. There was a wonderfull richness to the pages of this issue. Paul does a great job capturing the windmilling gangliness of the iconic Eisner Spirit. Paul was super to deal with. Great artist providing a great page.
