Description

Cool vintage, painted manga cover by Ozawa. He was a former assistant of Osamu Tezuka and it certainly shows in the style. He started to produce in own manga in the 1950's and achieved fame in 1963 with the hit series Submarine 707. This is just a fun piece that is classic for Tezuka influence manga of the era.

Nice vintage work with the familar look and bright flame colors! The robots and the young boy on the cover was definitely speaking to the intended audience.

I almost bid on this one but ultimately decided to hold off. Now I'm glad that I didn't bid as this fits perfectly in your wonderful collection. I really love the Tezuka design sensibility so much and Ozawa captures that while also bringing his own skill to it. Just beautiful! Huge congrats!

The style and imagery has that classic late-50s/early-60s look to it, and the colors make it very appealing to the eye. Cheers!
