Ahhhh the memories! This poster hung on my wall for years growing up, sharing wallspace with my "hot girl in a firehat" poster and my "hot girl covered in suds washing a corvette" poster

This piece makes me want to cry...that I don't own it. Have a heart and sell it to me since I have a huge Willie Lumpkin art collection and need this to complete it.

It's like the Sgt. Pepper album cover. I wonder if there are any "Ben is dead." clues?

This is amazing. Byrne and Perez are the masters of crowd shots and this is a terrific example of Byrne's work.

Like many others, I also had this poster hanging on my wall, what an amazing score, to basically have an entire series so beautifully represented in a single piece is a rare thing indeed. I also dig that this original version has the team in their classic Kirby blue/black outfits... i never cared for the way the colors were flipped to the blue/white costumes on the poster... i much prefer these versions. Classic!

I find some things curious about this piece. First published as the center DPS in Fantaco's Chronicles #2 (aka The Fantastic Four Chronicles), it was later published by Marvel, but with additions, such as the FF logo in the upper right corner, characters on the left side of the image were finished to widen the image as a whole, as were some on the right side (Awesome Android, in particular), while Kurrgo was moved further right and Attuma was added in Marvel's published poster. Also, in the Fantaco-published work, Ricardo Jones, the scientist who assumed the form of Thing in "This Man... This Monster!" in FF #51 (bald character with the pronounced brow peeking over Medusa's hair) is not present and seemed to have been added afterward. Since this is obviously the original art, how was this done? Did John Byrne re-work a copy of the art (say, from a Xerox or stat)? If so, why was the Ricardo Jones removed for the Fantaco-published DPS?
