Description

I saw this 8-page story during ComicArt Live and while I wasn't familiar with the artist, DaNi, I found the art compelling so decided I'd pick up a page.

Dani noted influences here included Mignola (layouts and lilies) and Sergio Toppi, but I felt something Jones-ian as well but can't put my finger on it.

Issue in making a decision was there are no words (modern art) so I purchased the digital comic to make an informed choice and decided to pick up the last 2 pages of the story - I am an end page fan so here is that one.

Outstanding last page with great flow as you move down the page. Emotive, and I LOVE Dani's female faces - panels 1 and 3 are oh so good. Congrats, Mark!

Very cool, I don't know this artist at all but all kinds of European influence including Breccia and Battaglia, even if they don't know it:)
