Description

Spectacular splash page from one of DC's most popular titles, OUR ARMY AT WAR #212 by the ultimate "Big 5" artist, Russ Heath. Great page 1 with Rock and Easy Co. dug in and waiting for a Nazi attack from the story "The Quiet War." This is Heath at his very best during his peak period on war stories. I own this complete story. Russ drew them in 1969, but they are all in such amazing shape they look like he finished them yesterday.

Russ Heath really captures the gritiness of war, as well as the emotions on the soldier's faces! An excellent example of Heath at his absolute best! Congratulations.

Incredible shadowing of the eyes under the helmet rim. You can feel the tanks coming with that same anticipation in the last ambush scene in Saving Private Ryan! Super congratulations you got the whole story! And it was in such pristine condition! The art is stunning!
