Description

Phil does some really nice, detailed head/bust shots at cons and picking up one was one of my goals at the recent Magic City show. Mission accomplished!

I went with a somewhat obscure choice, Red Wolf. The recent release of his new book reminded me of how much I like the original character's design (John Buscema's the man), and how I consider Avengers #80 and Marvel Spotlight #1 as 2 of my more cherished comics.

I really like how Phil shadowed his eyes...that's one of my favorite original design elements of the character. I think a mean, grimaced look was the right choice and the red coloring of the moon was a nice touch. Really nice for a con sketch!
