Description

Here's a picture of Stéphane Roux and I posing at the 2011 Heroes Con show with the incredible Shadowcat piece he did for me before the convention. Aside of this fabulous piece, one of the absolute highlights of the show for me was made just before this picture. As I approached Mr. Roux's table, he turned and glanced in my direction, offered a big smile and greeted me. "Carlos!" he said, like I was an old friend. I'd never had the pleasure of meeting him before.

You could've knocked me over with a feather. "How did you know my name?" I asked him incredulously. With a wry grin, he replied: "I visited your page on CAF and saw your picture!" It was then that I remembered that one of the reference pictures I'd sent him of Kitty was the Adam Hughes I own. We both got a good laugh out of that.

Mr. Roux is just as kind and friendly as he is talented...which is immensely, to be sure. Getting the chance to meet him and talk was one of the best parts of this year's show, no doubt! Thanks, Mr. Roux!!! :D
