UPDATE: sold via CAF Live, no longer in collection

Thinking about changing my CAF handle to Jade "not just a Hulk collector" Giant? What do you think? Well, not really but the fact is that I have started branching out a bit. I picked this nice Francis Manapul Batman a while back - love the wash work on this one.

Nice addition, Dave! I have a Manapul Ultra Boy inkwash piece. It's ok, I don't just collect the Thing either!

Lol ... sometimes I ask myself that exact question. I didn't even know I was a closet Batman fan ... I would have guessed I would have more Supes art than Bats (Supes page coming soon to CAF)

Yeah, sometimes we can't hide our desires! I got a Supes cover and a WW cover inbound myself and I have to question, who am I?

You sound so jaded. Just open up a new gallery section titled, "Characters that Hulk beats up"

Scary that you recommend that as I have almost done that in the past - I may have even had a Hulk friends and foes folder at one point. I actually started a theme a while back and gave up on it called "Hulk beats up the JLA" which reminds me I need to post a Hulk holding a defeated Superman by Freddie Williams.

Uh oh...I sense the floodgates opening. Be careful with "branching out" Dave :) I do like this! Nice depth between Batman and his cape exhibited through Manapul's killer command of watercolor! Suh-weet. Congrats!

Bruce Banner on Halloween? What a great concept! ;) That watercolor work is top-notch. The negative space lightning bolt is really cool. Ain't nothing wrong with branching out. Viva la difference! Congrats!

This is nice gray tonal piece. The inlay or watercolor grays are done perfectly. The slightly blacker cowl and cape just are distinctive enough to make Batman stand out against the thunderstorm.
