Description

Credited as Sal Buscema as a reprint of Hulk 216 in the UK publication of Mighty World of Marvel 286, this page was actually done by artist Jeff Aclin. As part of the reprinted story in the UK publication, a summary page was often done to recap the previous issue and set up the ongoing story. These pages were ghosted and not credited to the actual artist. Jeff does a great job of maintaining the visual continuity of the story, while making this page his own.

This story was a great arc with the BiBeast and a personal favorite from this era so I was thrilled to get a chance at this fun page.

I am looking for more UK MWM pages so please feel free to reach out if you come across any in your art collecting travels. Thanks!

Bi-beast! For some reason I've been seeing a lot of pages with him and Caraphrax (no relation). Two-face has nothing on dees guys! How interesting that Aclin had to ghost draw this page. I dig learning those kinds of tidbits. And what a fun page! Wein really ratcheted up the tension and this action page. Cool score! Congrats!

That's when the Bixby show hit putting Hulk front and center! Beautiful page with emotion and action .

Great title page, Dave! Nice top to bottom storytelling and that last panel rocks - throwdown imminent! And who doesn't like the Bi-Beast?! That dude's design is oh so fun. Congrats!
