Description

I met Phil for the first time at the 2011 Mid-Ohio Wizardworld. He was sketching for free for anyone who wanted to wait in line and talk to him. Whilst he sketched, we had a great conversation about the notion of submission, sacrifice, and compassion, and he told me some excellent behind-the-scenes stories about The Invisibles. I love Phil's beautiful, tightly controlled inking. Thanks so much, Phil!

I loved that you gave Phil a few suggestions with reference and he waved the reference off and started drawing this great sketch from memory :)
