DescriptionGambit has long been a favorite character of mine since he first popped up. What actually brought me back to comics around age 13 was when a friend gave me a copy of Uncanny X-men #267, which was the Homage Studios issue after his 1st appearance. Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, and Scott Williams quickly became favorite artists and I loyally read all the X-men books they did. But I really dug the Ragin' Cajun and later his relationship with Rogue, so he is a focus of my collection as one of the reasons I came back to comics.Gambit's first miniseries that this page is from is where we learned his backstory as a member of the Thieves Guild that married a daughter of the Assassin's Guild and it was a great story about their longstanding feud and history with great art by Lee Weeks and Klaus Janson. So I have been looking to get a page from this series for a while and am super thrilled to finally have one. Social/Sharing |

This mini series sold like hot cakes with Gambit at the height of his popularity. Real intense panels that wind up the tension that is released by an explosion!
