MY wonderful son, Brian Peck, just gave me this outstanding painting of jazz saxophone icon Charlie "Bird" Parker, painted by one of my favorite artists, Dan Brereton. I met Dan at Big WOW! a couple of years ago when I watched over his booth while he appeared on a panel that year. This was a belated birthday present, and well worth the wait! Thanks, Brian! You're the best son a mother could ever ask for.
