Description

Dave had an opening to do some commissions and when he posted so, I immediately emailed him to take advantage of his offer.

Any opportunity to have Dave do a few more JSA characters is always welcome.

I had seen an incredible take on the Silver Age Hawks Dave did so I asked him to take a crack at the Golden Age duo. I'm partial to the cloth mask version since that was the one I was introduced to back in the Silver Age during those wonderful Schwartz-Fox-Sekowsky stores,

I think Dave absolutely hit this out of the park!

Great artist. I think the yellowish/ golden tones add to the sepia effect and give it that Golden Age feel.

The tonal qualities used here definitely give it that nostalgic feel... Great piece and subject selection on your part!
