Description

This is the title splash to the 6-page "Graveyard of Vengeance" story from GHOSTS #18, published in September 1973...a prime AA time period. It's amazing how detailed the clouds are on this page. I highly doubt any modern artist would spend so much time and effort on the backgrounds. This is why AA is the master of the pen and brush!

Aaahhh... huge congrats on getting this! I had my eyes on this story too, but broke is broke, so I had to watch it go by. Page after page of beautiful Alcala brushwork... what a treat to own!

Wow....what inks... That is BRUSHWORK my friend. And I'm also jealous that you had the word "Vengeance" in the title, and it is spelled CORRECTLY !!!
