DescriptionHow wonderful it is to get another strip from one of my favourite SF stories, 'The Immortal Toys' and to get back one of my 'babies' I thought I would never see again from 'Uncanny Deep' by the super talented Sydney Jordan. I had to trade away H3075 to get other Hawke art and am delighted to have it back. I only ever buy what I like so am always happy if something I had to let go becomes available at a amount I can afford. Most of the times I have to pass due to price increases.Social/Sharing |

This may come as no surprise but the hero wins. Lol.

Thanks. I love 'silent' panels, where there is just art. It really shows off the artists skill.

So good that he needed no screen tone in the last two panels. All the depth and volume conveyed and showcased through stunning linework.

You might be interested in this, Marcus. I met this guy and asked him about the use of various mechanical textures tones and he told me it was done to save time as he was expected to produce on a daily basis. Intricate linework, crosshatching, etc is just not sustainable. Deadline pressure. Try doing that for twenty years.

Another classic title that has comepletely passed me by. Nice art! I do remebber the beautiful Bolland covers of the Titan trades, though. Maybe it's time to hunt them down!

Sydney Jordan is still alive and in fine form. I was talking to him this week. A fantastic person!
