DescriptionTIm's Batman is so unique. The mark he's left on the character is huge. The Long Halloween is universally adored and forever referenced. This might not be a page or cover from that story, but it's era specific – having been created in 1999. That, and the fact that it's 11x17, checks two boxes for me. It's also a nice way to kick off the new year.Social/Sharing |

Powerful piece, love the composition - love how the cape helps create that rule of thirds
Really great start to 2023. Happy New Year!

This is a top tier example of Tim's Batman. One of the best images I have seen by him. Big congrats!

Great cover or the con! I think both Sale and Loeb were there to as they were frequent guests for Wondercon back in a world when lines to see them were only a few people deep. Really nice imbalance composition as the left side with more lighting on Batman has the cape go even higher.

Tim's love of exagerating Batman's cape is on glorious display with this piece.

Just love how the cape envelopes 2/3 of the background, and almost functions as a horizon. Unreal stuff by the late great Sale. Congrats!
