Description

Scott Chandler is a wonderful creator. His distinct style brings a wonderful sense of place to his pages. His Bix Graphic Novel is a beautiful work. I feel fortunate to have picked up this "Supetember" piece. It perfectly captures the thrilling early days of the Golden Age Superman.

Great throwback style with the Superman that has yet been given the power to fly and only leaps in a single bound. There is joy in the way the leap is drawn like a track hurdler in perfect form.

I love the Superman of this era. The artist captured the wonder of those marvelous Fleischer cartoons.
