Description

This is huge and gorgeous. This was for a "Candlelight Estasy Romance" by Megan Lane. I skimmed the book (This means skimming the front until I find the description of her and then the end to see if it has a happy or sad ending) enough to know that she's an exotic looking, raven haired psychic or something and the man is a potential Republican candidate for Senate from California. In other words, if you know California politics, he has a much chance of becoming a senator as you do. In the last two pages he says he's going to let the California voters decide whether he goes to the senate despite whatever is going on with him and that hottie. Good choice. To be fair, this is 1985 and things were different.

Below is the published cover. Over 85% of the art was not used. That must be frustrating for the artist.
