DescriptionWhen Rhi updated her gallery I was in a bad place emotionally. Not to get into too much detail, I was given some rather bad news and just couldn't see any light at the end of the tunnel.I've always been a fan of Rhi ever since she started doing sketch cards and as always, when she updates her gallery here- I immediately check it out. Even as bad as I felt, the pull to her gallery was even stronger. That's the power of Rhiannon Owens. ;) And that's when I saw this beauty. Personally, I call her my SkyDancer. I came to CAF to escape the bad news given me and what I found was a revelation. If I could still see beauty through my sadness, then I can overcome just about anything. Rhi has the ability to add such emotion to her work that it astounds me. I'm so proud to own one of her breathtaking pieces.. and also, call her my friend. Much love, Rhi! ♥♥ Social/Sharing |

That is indeed a lovely, wonderful drawing. And now I think I'm going to have to look at more art by Rhiannon here on CAF.

It's as if she's in mid turn while flying upward! Rhiannon really has a terrific grasp when it comes to perspective.. I think if you were to check out her gallery, you won't be disappointed. You're a dear for leaving such kind words. :)

One of the reasons I was drawn to Starfire when she was first introduced into the Teen Titans mythos, was despite all her trials and troubles , she still retained a joyful optimism..that is the hallmark of true beauty. So it is very appropriate , that this Beautiful piece of art intersected with your story on a dark day and just like Starfire lifts your spirit. Enjoy

I mean, yes, this piece has personal meaning to me but I also love that it's a very different rendition of her than from what I've seen. Good things come to those who wait. :)
