Okay, don't shoot me for saying these words... this is ADORABLE!!! Even with the special visitor doing his best impression of a Peeping Tom, the mood is so peaceful and sweet. Mr. Boatwright is just amazing!!
What first caught my attention was Mr. Boatwright's ability to create creatures that go bump in the night- that kind of subject matter is right up my alley! Now, I see this and WOW!!! Talk about perfection! Not just my favourite Boatwright piece in your collection but also my favourite in your 'Iron Throne' theme!
I admire your entire Boatwright collection but this is simply wonderful!! The colours are staggeringly gorgeous and well, let me be the second one to use the word 'cute'. Cute as all get out, this one is!

First, I'll always sing your praises. Your talent is unique and reminds me of a lost art. Secondly, ever since I was young I've heard of Springheeled Jack and although I'm almost sure what I read about and the work that you're doing isn't quite the same- the intrigue is definitely there. Not to mention I love where your imagination and talent takes us, the fortunate ones that view your art. :)

You are a master at capturing atmosphere and telling stories with your illustrations alone. This just takes my breath away... reminds me of the gothic movies I grew up with.
I can completely understand your dilemma of having to choose if all the pieces were as sharp as this one. I think I would have picked this one, too. He's not 'swishy' looking (a word I picked up from reading a James O'Barr interview lol) and I love the kinetic energy around him... it's just done so well with much respect to Dr. Strange. My memory is bad so I don't really remember if I've seen any of Mr. Broderick's work before however hopefully next year I can add him to my list with thanks to this piece. :)
This is so startling good!! Springheeled Jack.. what can I say. He's what startles me!! You captured him so well that it feels like he's going to leap off of the paper and onto my lap not to mention that the entire piece has a wonderful creepy feel to it! A magnificent colour piece. Truly.
Your talent astounds me every time I see a new creation! The mood of this is my favourite- the starkness and perspective really captures the sense of urgency. Envious of the owner but glad I still got the chance to see this!!

Bill, I could go on and on about this piece but I don't think you'd want to read a novella. lol I'll just say that I've loved Meghan's art for years and I've never seen her capture the mood of two distinct characters so well. This is more than perfect.. and huge congrats!!
