DescriptionJason Metcalfe started me off with three commissions on the " Time To Die & A Time For Love " journey over two years ago. He has become even more popular since then so he could not commit to doing them all but I was determined to have him back , one more time before this series ended.......And he did a great job, redoing a classic X Factor cover. When we last left our heroes they were trapped by Satan Girl and at her mercy but enter XTC, to save the day. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the character. She appeared very briefly in Alex Ross' Kingdom Come. Her back-story is that she is a green-skinned, power-house, daughter of Brainiac 5 & Supergirl from an alternate timeline. For a character who barely appeared, she still has managed to find a very small but loyal fan base. Maybe because so many DC Comics reboots, have kept Brainy & Kara apart , that this character represents the "happy ever after " that Legion & Supergirl fans longed to see. Russ did a lovely job on the logo and backgrounds. Jason is , as ever a delightful talented man who is fun to work with. So here we have, The Daughter Vs The Dark Side of a Supergirl. I loved that X-Factor cover, so of course I love this. Jason Metcalf has gotten even better since his last commission for you.

Great concept - I love commissions with obscure characters. Maybe Laurel Kent and Supergirl could battle Pulsar Stargrave next!
