DescriptionI remember reading this comic as a kid. It was one of the first time I was interested in the artist as much as I was interested in the story. And it turns out, this young artist went on to bigger things but even then George Perez could draw an eye-catching scene.Well Allan Goldman managed to be inspired by that cover and come up with a dramatic scenario. This was his first piece and he nailed it both with pencils and inks. Chris Ivy did the logo for me. It's a striking piece and I finally glad to post it up on CAF so that others can admire it also. An artist who can ink that well is a rare thing..it is beautifully feathered & rendered

Allan Goldman did an incredible job on this cover. his inks ARE as good as his pencils. Hopefully my dislike for Superboy Prime will result in a sound thrashing at the end of this thread.Too many bound up heavy hitters to not deliver the beat down on SBP!

Allan Goldman is possibly one of the greatest discoveries for those of us that like to commission art in years. Incidentally, even though Perez did the art for the Inhumans comic, I think the cover that this one is based on was drawn by Rich Buckler. Regardless, this piece is outstanding!

I know the interiors were by Perez, I thought the cover was also but I bow to your superior knowledge.I like Buckler also and it still was an awesome & unusual image
