DescriptionThis is a beautiful commission by John but it was not part of the series until the two of us put our heads together at the Baltimore Comic Con. John did this ( and next week's offering ) in a matter of a few days and yet it looks so polished.A BIG THANK YOU to John on this one.Russ also had to scramble to avoid the Dreaded Deadline Doom and he did so in style. Next week's piece was so difficult that I had no clue where the logo etc would go but John & Russ figured it all out. So not even death brings peace to our poor heroine. The body is broken but the Trapper is not letting her spirit and soul escape his clutches. And so it continues.... Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

A few days! Incredible! Other guys could keep you waiting for months for this kind of work!

Poor Lournu...I guest after being a ghost, the only next thing she can look forward to is doing some time in Hell. Maybe she then becomes the new "Satan Girl"?

Although with that obscure reference, you are getting warmer. Something or someone obscure from her own past may be the key to her salvation.

I figured that Luornu's story was far from over. Death rarely grants a permanent release in comics! Great work as usual from John and Russell!

Maybe the original Invisible Kid, who ended up hanging out with a cute ghost, could come in and give her some advice.

I love the way this becomes a Legion meets the House of Mystery type cover.
Not sure how John was able to achieve the ghostly effect, but boy is it cool.

The ghostly effect was done with Copic marker. I drew the figure and then reversed the shadows using Adams for ref (with a bit of Grell thrown in from SLSH #203!). Hope that helps. Always liked the original cover for this one from the first time I saw it in ads back in the 1980's.
