Before I was able to scroll down I thought this must be based on a Gil Kane cover.

So true and so great!

As someone pointed out this perfectly captures the emotion brought upon by the previous issues traumatic events.

Had a blast drawing this one in a Kane style. The original is from an absolute classic cover run on Green Lantern, right up there with Cardy's Aquaman covers.
