I'm sure they have met in the comics before, but I can't remember an instance off the top off my head. Either way, I bet there's a potentially great story there for them just having a conversation about their experiences.

Even though it takes its inspiration from a Booster Gold cover, I like how Mackie achieves a lighter, Silver Age feel here.
