Definitely an ominous cover that was designed with the intent of wringing out the tension with every step they took toward the noose.

The two series with the most consistent dramatic and suspenseful covers were Sgt Rock & Challengers Of The unknown. They added so much to the storytelling process

Ivy is so talented, he can do it all! This cover brings such a sense of dread.

The Kubert design works well, but I think Mr. Ivy's choice to bring the main figure even closer to the noose increases the tension/drama of the original.
