Description

In a beautiful tribute to the classic Alex Ross Legion of Superheroes poster, Supergirl , Superboy and members of the Legion Espionage Squad take to the skies above New Krypton. This was a published page by Jamal Ingle from Supergirl Issue 51/ War Against Krypton storyline ( Page 22) that I purchased.

It is a great image and because it featured both Superboy, Supergirl and Starman ( who will have their own Infinite Timelines mini-series ) , it got me thinking. So after a discussion with Russ Payne, this splash page, like one or two other gems in my collection is getting a new lease on life as the call goes out to members of the Legion from many different eras to battle the Time Trapper in the cosmic event we have come to know as The Infinite Timelines.

Considering my most recent Shakespeare Project, I can fully get behind repurposing of art. Jamal did a super job and Russell's finishes look great.
